Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Relicportrait. By booking our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy. Please read carefully before proceeding.
1. Booking & Payments
• Booking a Session:
To book your photography session, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total session fee is required to secure your spot. Full payment is due 7-14 days before your session, depending on the type of service. The deposit will be deducted from the total balance.
• Payment Methods:
We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, or check. If paying by check, please ensure it clears at least 7 days before the session. All payments must be completed in full before the photoshoot unless otherwise arranged. Please note that there may be additional fees for credit card payments.
• Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please notify us at least 10-14 days before your scheduled session. Cancellations made within 7 days of the session may result in the loss of the deposit. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee. If we need to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance, we will provide a full refund or offer a rescheduled date.
2. Copyright & Usage
• Ownership of Images:
All images taken during the session are the property of Relicportrait and are protected by copyright laws. Upon receiving the final edited images, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the images for personal purposes only (e.g., personal albums, social media posts). Commercial use (e.g., advertising, resale, or promotional purposes) requires prior written consent.
• Commercial Use:
Any commercial use of the images (including but not limited to advertising, resale, or promotional purposes) requires prior written consent and may involve additional fees.
• Social Media Sharing:
We encourage you to share your images on social media. Please tag [Instagram handle, Facebook page, etc.] when sharing. Please refrain from altering or editing the images in any way (e.g., applying filters, cropping). Altering the image may diminish the quality and integrity of the original work.
3. Privacy & Confidentiality
• Personal Information:
We collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and payment details to process bookings, provide services, and communicate with you. We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. We will retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of our services unless you request deletion.
• Data Protection:
We take all reasonable measures to protect your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) if applicable. If you have any concerns about your data or wish to request that we delete it, please contact us directly.
• Client Image Use & Release
At Relicportrait, we love showcasing the work we do! By booking a session, you grant Relicportrait permission to use images of you and/or your property for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:
• Social media, websites, and online galleries
• Advertising, including print and digital formats
• Portfolio use for promotional purposes
If you do not wish for your images to be used in this way, please notify us in writing before the session. If you wish to limit the usage of your images, we will do our best to accommodate your request, though certain restrictions may apply.
4. Client Responsibilities
• On-Time Arrival:
Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. If you are running late, your session time may be shortened to accommodate other bookings. Sessions more than 15 minutes late may incur a late fee or may need to be rescheduled, depending on our availability.
• Attire & Preparation:
We will provide guidance on attire and location, but ultimately it is your responsibility to ensure that you are ready for your session. If there are specific looks or themes you have in mind, please discuss them with us beforehand.
• Location & Safety:
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the location of the photoshoot is safe and accessible. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the session.
5. Image Delivery & Turnaround Time
• Turnaround Time:
You will receive your final edited images within 1 to 8 weeks after the session depending on type of session. Images will be delivered via digital download link, USB drive, online gallery, etc.
• Editing:
All images will be professionally edited to meet our high standards. We reserve the right to select the final images delivered based on quality and composition. Clients will not receive unedited/raw images.
6. Liability & Force Majeure
• Equipment & Weather Issues:
While we take every precaution to ensure your session goes smoothly, we are not liable for unforeseen issues such as weather conditions, technical malfunctions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your session at the earliest opportunity.
• Force Majeure:
In the event that a force majeure event (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions) prevents us from fulfilling the session, we will notify you immediately. You will have the option to reschedule your session or receive a full refund of any payments made.
7. Refund Policy
• Due to the nature of the service, all deposits are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded. If we need to cancel the session due to circumstances on our end, we will offer a full refund or provide the option to reschedule.
